We’re seeking an experienced contractor to help plan the electrical service before construction begins.

Scope of work

- Review the proposed site layout and visit the property.
- Prepare a preliminary load calculation for six winter-heated domes, six hot tubs, mini stoves, a shared electric sauna, hot water, a well pump, and a utility building.
- Recommend the appropriate service size and type, including whether 400 amps, 600 amps, or another arrangement is required.
- Recommend a practical meter and main service location and a preliminary distribution route to the domes.
- Contact NB Power using our existing work order number and coordinate the information needed for its service design and connection estimate.
- Provide a short written summary of the recommendation, assumptions, outstanding equipment specifications, and next steps for permitting and installation.

Requirements





- Active New Brunswick Electrical Contractor Licence, or employment with a licensed electrical contractor who will take responsibility for the work.
- At least two years of relevant electrical experience.
- Experience with current services, load calculations, and NB Power coordination.
- Ability to visit the Hillsborough-area site and communicate clearly with the owner and site designer.
