Our established and busy family dental practice is looking for a Certified Level 1 or 2 Dental Assistant to join our patient-focused dental team. This position will include some front desk requirements.

Duties include

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a protected and efficient workflow (In accordance with IPAC standards).
- Assist the dentist during various procedures & treatments
- Take dental radiographs (HARP certified requirement).
- Manage patient records using Open Dental
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
- Educate patients on pre and post treatment care.
- Maintain operatory readiness, including ordering of inventory and supplies.
- Handle front desk tasks such as scheduling appointments, sending claims, collecting payment & answering phones when needed.
- Trios experience a plus
- Ortho experience a plus

Experience with Open Dental is an asset but not required.

Monday - 9:00 to 5:00

Wednesday - 9:00 to 5:00

Thursday - 9:30 to 7:00

Friday - 9:00 to 3:00

1 Saturday a month - 8:30 to 3:00

- If we work Saturday we don’t work Friday.

Salary based on experience

Anticipated start date: ASAP

Job Type: Full time 31.5 to 33.5 hours a week

Work Location: In person

Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
