Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and experienced Certified Dental Assistant Level II to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is confident working in a busy dental office, provides excellent patient care, and is committed to maintaining a professional and welcoming setting.

Monday to Friday and some pre-scheduled Saturdays.

Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
- Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
- Follow all Ontario IPAC guidelines and office protocols.
- Clean, disinfect, and prepare treatment rooms between patients.
- Sterilize and process dental instruments according to established procedures.
- Maintain proper sterilization records and monitor sterilization equipment.
- Handle and dispose of sharps and biomedical waste appropriately.
- Ensure treatment areas and equipment are clean, organized, and properly maintained.




- Monitor inventory and notify the office manager when supplies need to be ordered.
- Assist with dental laboratory cases and tracking.

Requirements

- Certified Dental Assistant Level II (CDA II).
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of Ontario dental office infection prevention and control (IPAC) standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, punctual, and dependable.
- Experience with Open Dental dental software is an asset.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate

- Toronto, ON M4S 1Z7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
