We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create an environment of success!ResponsibilitiesAs a Midas automotive technician, you'll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs and maintenance,



including:Willing to learn Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systemsTires and tire repairKnowledge of Car heating and air conditioningKnowledge Steering and suspensionAbility to identify and replace Belts and hosesKnows or willing to learn Radiator and engine cooling systemsAble to change vehicle Batteries, and perform AVR testsKnowledge of Steering and suspensionKnows to replace brakes or in the process of learning Brake repairOil and filter change servicesCheck engine lightKnowledge of Mufflers and exhaust servicesVisual courtesy inspectionsQualificationsAbility to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environmentKnowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires & engine diagnosticsTrack record of high personal productivityKnowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilitiesExperience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and diagnostic toolsProvincial Certificate of QualificationValid driver's licenseOwn tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)Able to service both import and domestic vehicles
