As part of the Supportive Care team the Sexual Health Consultant will work to increase patients access to oncology‐related sexual health resources, including offering patient and provider education (materials and teaching), as well as assessment and intervention in individual, couples and group formats.Collaborating with other health care professionals, you will use a team‐based approach. This will include triaging patients to consult with Sexual Health Consultant, psychosocial clinicians, and/or medical staff. The Sexual Health Consultant will also offer patient assessment and intervention in individual, couples and group formats.This position is located at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre site, Satellite of the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, with sexual health consultation activities also conducted via remote technologies for patients residing and/or receiving treatment across Alberta.DescriptionAs a Sexual Health Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and delivering sexual health programing to address patients' sexual health impairments.
