Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Chinese Speaking Bilingual Medical Translator/Scribe to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as a bridge between healthcare providers and Chinese-speaking patients, ensuring clear and accurate communication throughout medical encounters. Your expertise in interpretation, translation, and medical terminology will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical documentation.

Duties

- Prepare exam room for patients such as sanitizing instruments and pulling up recent online imaging reports, or specialist consult notes relevant to today's encounter
- Provide interpretation between Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking patients and doctor during medical consultations, examinations, and procedures.
- Accurately transcribe and document clinical encounters, including patient histories, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions.
- Maintain detailed,



organized electronic health records with precise typing skills to support seamless documentation workflows.
- Support the healthcare team by clarifying medical terminology using your knowledge of linguistics and translation best practices.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all privacy regulations while managing sensitive information.

Qualifications

- Must be fluent in English and proficient in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) to support a patient base that is predominantly Chinese-speaking, alongside English-speaking individuals.
- Excellent communication skills with a skilled demeanor that fosters trust with patients and staff alike.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.Join us in making a meaningful difference by ensuring effective communication in healthcare settings! Internal training will be provided.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
