We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking casual or part-time work, with opportunities to contribute to the upkeep of commercial spaces.
Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous but not required, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial environments
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Handle waste disposal and replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
- Conduct periodic deep cleaning and special maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning activities are completed efficiently while adhering to health and safety guidelines
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safety protocols is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills and reliability are essential for success in this role
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
