Climber and Groundsman required for busy North Vancouver based tree company.

Experience preferred but not mandatory. Valid BC driver license an asset.

Climber position duties may include but not limited to: Using sophisticated climbing and rigging techniques, cut away dead or excess branches from trees or shrubs to maintain right-of-way for roads, sidewalks, or to improve appearance, health, and value of trees.

Groundsman position duties may include but not limited to: safety for all types of equipment used (chipper, stump grinder, chainsaw), being a reliable member of the team responsive to visual cues and hand signals from the Climber, filling equipment with gasoline or diesel, lining up branches and piling appropriately for loading into the chipper, keeping the work area transparent of debris, cleaning up branches and limbs as they are brought down by climber, raking the area when finished.
