This role ensures that complex regulatory, risk, and detection requirements are accurately translated into technology solutions that are well-designed, data-enabled, tested, operationally ready, and sustainable in BAU. The analyst enables safe and effective change across FCRM platforms by combining business application ownership, business testing leadership, data enablement, and strong stakeholder orchestration.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the business use case behind transaction-monitoring systemsReview source-to-target mapping (STTM)Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, gaps, and inconsistenciesQuery data using SQL (Oracle SQL Developer is the primary environment)Review business rules and validate that implemented logic supports intended business requirementsValidate that data behaves as expected as it moves through environmentsWrite and execute test cases; support UAT and production-release testingIdentify gaps or failures in data transformations and business logicCommunicate findings to technical and data teamsTranslate technical and data concepts into business language for stakeholdersCommunicate business requirements back to technical teamsTrace how data moves through multiple systems and understand data lineageReview whether implemented logic supports the intended business requirementsSupport UAT and sign-off processesEventually own communication for a particular data streamInteract with both internal and external stakeholders; spend approximately 2 hours daily in meetingsWork with access to customer data in accordance with applicable compliance requirementsRequired Skills5–7 years of overall experience (may be relaxed for exceptional candidates)Strong BA skills with BAT (Business Acceptance Testing) experience; track record of workingwith Data, Technology, and Data Governance teamsStrong SQL capability (non-negotiable): ability to interpret data, derive conclusions, query and analyze large datasets, and troubleshoot why particular data or results fail validationComfortable working with very large datasets; able to understand relationships between different data elementsUnderstanding of ETL, data mapping, and data lineage, including experience reviewing source-to-target mapping (STTM) and understanding where data originates, how it moves, changes, and ultimately gets loadedAbility to understand business rules and use cases behind data transformations; review whether implemented logic supports intended business requirements; identify gaps or inconsistenciesAbility to create and execute business testing plans focused on business use case perspective; work closely with BAT test leads; approximately 7/10 proficiency in test-case writing and validationFamiliarity with JIRA, Confluence, and other BA toolsAbility to understand how data supports a particular business use caseStrong interpersonal skillsGreat communication skills; able to explain technical discussions in easy business termsAbility to take ownership and act as single point of contact between multiple teams and handle small initiativesPreferred SkillsAML experience preferred; Oracle ECM / Transaction Monitoring experience considered an assetFamiliarity with AML use cases and business rulesUnderstanding of case-management workflows, different user roles and permissions, how cases move through a system, and general application workflowFamiliarity with Financial Crime, Case Management, and Oracle ECMEducation RequirementsUndergraduate (UG) degree requiredRequired Experience5–7 years of overall experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with strong SQL, data analysis, data validation and testing, and business-logic understandingTrack record of working with Data, Technology, and Data Governance teamsExperience with data mapping, data lineage,
