REPORTS TO Content Manager
WORKLOAD Full-time The prospect
Most roles ask you to improve what is already there.
This one invites you to help build what comes next.
Alpha Hub is building an AI-powered platform for private capital markets from the ground up. With a live MVP and plans for a private capital marketplace, we are shaping how companies and investors find each other and evaluate opportunities.
We are looking for a community and growth professional to launch the referral program that will help bring the first paying subscribers into that platform.
Role overview
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working with Capital Raising, you will run Alpha Hub's referral program from launch through measurement. It combines a 375-seat founding rate, a permanent points program, and partnerships that can introduce entire networks. Your focus is verified users, paying subscriptions, and annual recurring revenue, with particular attention to 12-month subscribers.
What you will do
- Operate the referral points program, tracking points earned for early-access rank and points redeemed for subscription discounts capped at 50% of an invoice. Award points only after the referred user verifies identity; apply plan-weighted referrer rewards of 500, 250, or 100 points for 12-month, 3-month, or monthly plans, and the approved 50% first-invoice welcome offer for referred users.
- Manage the 375-seat founding rate, including 250 issuer-side and 125 allocator-side seats. Track seats at paid conversion, coordinate partner reservations, and move the program to its permanent alumni rate when the founding offer closes.
- Recruit and support network partners such as accelerators, syndicate leads, sponsors, and intermediaries that can introduce 20 to 200 accounts at a time. Coordinate cobranded cohort pages, reserved seats, and the Charter Partner track.
- Maintain the status and milestone ladder, from Founding Investor through Ambassador. Apply points and discounts to eligible peer referrers, while using status and access rather than points for family offices, RIAs, and other network partners.
- Execute the launch plan through community seeding, warm introductions, podcasts, newsletters, and relevant creators. Keep referral invitations separate from cold outreach.
- Apply program controls for identity verification, refunds and chargebacks, device and IP fraud signals, and reward clawbacks. Keep rewards in subscription credit, status, or access with no cash payouts; tie them to subscriptions, never securities transactions or capital raised.
- Report verification rate, referral-to-paid conversion, referral share of paid additions, points dilution as a percentage of booked annual recurring revenue, verified accounts per priority partner, and fraud and clawback rates. Recommend adjustments when the data calls for them.
- Coordinate with Capital Raising, Onboarding, Marketing, and the Community Engagement Associate so referred leads are captured, credited, and followed up consistently across the points program, partner network, and ambassador program.
What you bring
- At least three years in growth marketing, referral or affiliate programs, partnerships, or lifecycle and CRM marketing, with experience owning a program or major workstream.
- Experience designing or operating referral, affiliate, loyalty, or points-based programs, with results you can explain through conversion, subscriber growth, or revenue metrics.
- Confidence managing funnel performance, attribution, reward costs, fraud thresholds, and changes to program rules based on data.
- Experience building B2B or channel partnerships as well as peer referral campaigns.
- Strong organization and attention to detail when managing points records, reward tiers, and different rules for different audiences.
- Transparent communication and an interest in fintech, startups, or capital markets; you can make complex financial topics accessible.
- Comfort collaborating across teams and managing competing priorities in a fast-moving remote environment.
Helpful but not required
- Experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, private capital, venture capital, or accelerator and incubator communities.
- Familiarity with referral or partner platforms such as ReferralCandy, Rewardful, or PartnerStack.
- Experience with points ledgers, tiered loyalty programs, or ambassador and champion programs.
- Experience using CRM and marketing analytics tools for referral funnels, attribution, and fraud monitoring.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AI-assisted content tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
This role might be for you if
- You enjoy turning an ambitious growth concept into a program people can use and a team can measure.
- You can balance compelling rewards with clear rules, accurate records, and fraud controls.
- You like building relationships with both individual advocates and partners who bring entire networks.
- You want to build an acquisition channel at an early stage and own the results it produces.
Why we are building this We've spent years around founders, investors, operators, and capital markets. We saw talented companies struggle to raise capital, investors struggle to evaluate opportunities, and critical processes still being managed through disconnected tools, spreadsheets, and email chains. In a nutshell, this industry loves investing in tech but is itself majorly in need of an upgrade.
We're building Alpha Hub because we believe private capital deserves better infrastructure, a real end-to-end platform that doesn't exist yet in this highly fragmented landscape. More importantly, we enjoy building ambitious things with smart people and tackling problems that don't have obvious answers.
We're more interested in builders than checkbox matches.
Compensation
This role begins as an equity-based position while we complete our current fundraising process.
We understand that's not a conventional arrangement, and it won't be the right fit for everyone. We're looking for people who value ownership, impact, and the opportunity to help shape a company from an early stage.
