The 9-8-8 call line is a national mental health hotline for individuals experiencing thoughts of suicide and/or emotional distress. Mandatory training includes health and safety, ASIST, verbal intervention, O.C.A.N., CRM system, and First Aid/CPR. Assets include a Master's degree and specialized training in mental health interventions.Experience: Minimum of 3 years in case management or community supports, with understanding of crisis and recovery models, mental health legislation, and demonstrated assessment and crisis intervention skills.Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license, vehicle, police records check, references, lived experience with mental health or addiction issues is an asset, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.Working Conditions: Office, community, and client homes; working with individuals in crisis, flexible schedule including evenings, and transporting clients as needed.
