Economy Paving is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of concrete construction projects. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate with project teams, senior management, and clients to deliver exceptional results.

Your expertise in construction management and concrete operations will drive project success from initial planning through final inspection.

Economy Paving is looking for an experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee our concrete crews and projects. We’re looking for a hands-on leader with strong concrete construction knowledge who can deliver quality work safely, efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities

- Plan and oversee concrete work, including sidewalks, curbs and gutters, slabs and related concrete construction.
- Lead foremen, finishers, form setters and labourers.
- Coordinate crews, equipment, materials and concrete deliveries.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications and grades.
- Oversee site preparation, formwork, reinforcement, placement, finishing and curing.




- Monitor workmanship and ensure projects meet specifications and quality standards.
- Manage schedules, track production and resolve field issues.
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors and clients.
- Enforce safety procedures and maintain accurate daily reports.

Qualifications

- Proven superintendent or senior supervisory experience in concrete construction.
- Strong knowledge of concrete forming, placing, finishing and curing.
- Experience with municipal, commercial or civil concrete projects.
- Ability to manage multiple crews and coordinate work across projects.
- Robust planning, leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality and accountability.
- Valid driver’s licence.
