Barber Collins security is looking for a full time night Security Guard to work at a condominium*.*
Shifts:
Week 1 (31 hours): Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 pm to 7 am
Week 2 (41 hours)
Friday from 11 pm to 8 am
Saturday from 8 pm to 8 am
Sunday from 8 pm to 7 am
Wednesday from 11 pm to 7 am
Thursday from 11 pm to 7 am
- Every other weekend
- Night shift
These hours are not negotiable
Responsibilities:
- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a secure and secure environment.
- Perform concierge type duties.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
- Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment.
- Access control for the facility/area.
- Ensuring that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
- Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Trained Security Guard with a diploma in a related field.
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones.
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.
