Responsibilities - Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs - Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients - Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements - Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects - Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms - Analyze tenders and recommend awards Job Duties - Preparation of construction related cost estimates, cost plans, and cost strategies - Change order reviews and valuations of work in progress and bid analyses - Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
- Preparation of studies and plans on value engineering, life cycle costing, and sustainable practices - Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering pref’d
- Minimum of 3+ years of related experience req’d
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications;

Experience and specialty in electrical and mechanical cost strategies

- Cost control in the commercial/institutional/Industrial sector concentrating on vertical construction;

Experience with conceptual and detailed measurement / pricing;

Experience in CMGC / GCCM process;
