Palm Bites is a growing food and chocolate brand specializing in premium dates, chocolate products, desserts, café items, and innovative food products. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and customer-focused individual to join our team and help bring the Palm Bites brand to life both online and in our café.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Social Media & Content Creator / Café Associate who can combine creativity, content production, and customer service.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and creating engaging photo and video content for Palm Bites, managing day-to-day social media content, supporting social media campaigns and promotions, and helping create an attractive and consistent brand presence across our digital channels.

At the same time, you will support our café operations by welcoming customers, assisting with orders, answering phone calls, and providing an excellent customer experience.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, comfortable behind and in front of the camera, understands social media trends, and enjoys interacting with customers.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Social Media

- Create engaging photo, video, Reel, Story, and other social media content for Palm Bites.
- Develop creative concepts for product photography, food styling, promotional campaigns, seasonal content, and brand storytelling.
- Plan and maintain a content/shooting calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and business priorities.
- Develop photography and videography plans before each shoot.
- Coordinate with the production team to arrange required products, ingredients, packaging, and other materials needed for shoots.
- Identify and arrange appropriate props, backgrounds, locations, lighting requirements, and other shoot elements.
- Coordinate and execute product photography and videography sessions with photographers/videographers.
- Assist with styling products and setting up the shoot to ensure products are presented attractively.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content, product launches, promotions, customer experiences, café content, and day-to-day brand moments.
- Edit basic photos and videos for social media using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe applications, or similar platforms.




- Prepare and publish social media posts, Reels, Stories, and promotional content.
- Support paid social media advertising by preparing creative content and ad materials.
- Monitor social media trends and recommend new content ideas, formats, sounds, and creative concepts.
- Maintain consistent Palm Bites branding, tone, quality, and visual identity across social media platforms.
- Monitor basic social media performance and provide ideas to improve engagement and reach.

Café & Customer Service
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Assist customers with café and Palm Bites product purchases.
- Explain products, ingredients, flavours, and available options to customers.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing customer-facing area.
- Support café operations during busy periods.
- Help maintain attractive product displays and ensure products are properly presented.
- Respond professionally to customer questions and feedback.
- Create a positive customer experience that reflects the Palm Bites brand.

Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Production, Marketing, Sales, and Management teams to coordinate content requirements.
- Communicate upcoming product launches, promotions, and campaign requirements to relevant teams.
- Coordinate product availability with Production before scheduled shoots.
- Organize all required materials before each photography/video session.
- Maintain an organized library of photos, videos, graphics, and other marketing assets.
- Support special events, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional activities as required.

Qualifications & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, content creation, photography, videography, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and short-form video content.
- Basic photography and videography skills.




- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content creation tools is an asset.
- Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new content ideas.
- Solid organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working with photographers, production teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Customer-service oriented and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Ability to multitask between content creation and café/customer service responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food/retail environment.
- Food, café, chocolate, hospitality, or consumer-brand experience is an asset.
- A portfolio or examples of previous social media/content work is strongly preferred.
