As part of the evolution and optimization of its financial processes, GSL is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-driven Accounting Technician who wishes to play an active role in improving the efficiency and modernization of the company's accounting operations.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord customer and supplier invoices in the accounting system in compliance with established deadlinesPerform customer billing, taking into account applicable deductions in accordance with contractual specificationsEnsure the receipt and recording of customer paymentsProcess supplier payments within prescribed timelinesManage accounts receivable and accounts payableCarry out collections on overdue accounts and ensure proper follow-upPerform monthly reconciliations (including government authorities) and complete required remittancesParticipate in monthly inventory reconciliation and follow-upOpen customer accounts and manage credit limitsProcess foreign exchange (FX) hedging transactionsActively participate in the NetSuite system transition and optimization projectCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersContribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of accounting processesProfile SoughtBachelor diploma in AccountingMinimum of five (5)
