Cook / Chef – Salmon Arm, BC

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook/Chef to join our intimate, welcoming restaurant located inside a local bowling alley in Salmon Arm, BC.

Our restaurant offers a diverse menu with a focus on Indian-style cuisine, and we are looking for someone who brings robust culinary skills, creativity, and a willingness to learn and expand their expertise.

Responsibilities include:

- Preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard
- Food preparation, portioning, and maintaining kitchen organization
- Monitoring inventory and maintaining appropriate stock levels
- Placing and receiving food orders
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Working closely and communicating effectively with servers and front-of-house staff
- Contributing ideas to improve and expand our menu

The ideal candidate:

- Has professional cooking experience and strong knowledge of Indian cuisine
- Is reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- Works well in a team-oriented environment
- Takes pride in quality, presentation, and consistency
- Is eager to learn and grow within the role

Immigration support is subject to program requirements and eligibility.
