Serve as a Casual Recovery Coach with Beccarian Correctional Care in Calgary. This role is focused on engaging members in therapeutic recovery programs during evenings and weekends.At Beccarian Correctional Care, we seek a Recovery Coach to support our Therapeutic Living Units. In this position, you will work collaboratively with individuals who are navigating their recovery, facilitating group sessions, recreational activities, and providing peer support.



Your work will emphasize building a supportive community culture and contributing to the rehabilitation process.Key Responsibilities:Offer ongoing encouragement and care in evening settingsParticipate in therapy and recreational program activitiesCo-facilitate recovery meetings such as AA and SMART RecoveryReport members' progress to the TLU Lead when necessaryAid in crisis situations to ensure a secure environmentRequirements:Caregiving or mental health support experience is preferredExcellent communication to build relationships with individualsUnderstanding of substance use and mental health challengesCompassionate handling of sensitive situationsExperience with justice-involved populations is a plusUtilize your experience to foster recovery and a supportive community at Beccarian Correctional Care.
