The Township is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals for the positions of Early Childhood Educators in our Before and After School Program St-Jean/La Croisée, Saint-Joseph, and St. Mother Teresa Daycares.The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for delivering an educational program including activities that are geared toward children's development, their health, their security, and their well-being.Hold a valid CPR and First Aid certification; Valid and negative criminal record check – Vulnerable sector (within 6 months); Must be 18 years or older; Communication and interpersonal skills; Patience, empathy and understanding of children's needs; Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment; Work in cooperation within a robust team environment.Language RequirementsExcellent proficiency in spoken and written French (St-Jean/La Croisée and Saint-Joseph); Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English (St. Mother Teresa); Bilingualism isan asset.CompensationThe salary is between $22.23/hour and $25.02/hour and includes a pension plan, as well as free access to the Sports Dome Training Centre.
