Leverage your industry experience and technical acumen to drive client projects from concept through build.What You Will DoCollaborate on projects across several practice areasWork with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesDocumentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.)Resolve complex technical and design issuesManage client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordinationProvide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for constructionParticipate and/or lead in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samplesContribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programsYour QualificationsAccredited degree in ArchitectureLicensed in British Columbia (AIBC)12+ years of experience in a commercial design firmExperience in core & shell architecture and interiorsProficiency with Revit, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and MS OfficeExperience managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, landscape, and civil consultantsExperience resolving complex technical and design issuesExperience performing zoning and code analysis in multiple jurisdictionsUnderstanding of how buildings are constructed, along with the ability to create technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe the work to be doneUnderstanding of sustainable and universal design conceptsStrong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skillsPrevious experience in sustainable design projects preferable; especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard,
