Elora Road Meats is a well-established, family-operated meat processing facility serving farmers and retail customers since 1976 in South Bruce Ontario.We are seeking a skilled Experienced Butcher with 3-5 years of professional meat-cutting experience, including work on a kill-floor. This role is ideal for someone who is confident with advanced cuts, equipment operation, and fast-paced production environments.As a butcher you will need to:Meat Preparation:Break down beef, pork, lamb, and seasonal wild game according to customer specific cuts.Perform all stages of meat cutting and processing; including slaughter activities, carcass breakdown, and humane-handling procedures.Equipment Operation:Maintain equipment and ensure sanitation standards are met.Use of knives, saws, mixers, vacuum packers, slicers, and scales with confidence.Customer Service:Provide customers with knowledgeable guidance on cuts, custom orders, product information, and cooking methodsAnswer phone inquiries/booking animalsWorkstation Leadership:Support junior staff, maintain workflow,



and uphold safety standards.Support general shop operations.This position will be full time Monday-Friday. This may include longer days and weekends on occasion.
