Purpose Reporting to the Line Lead or Production Supervisor, the Batching Operator mixes large quantities of raw materials to cook sauces, condiments, and salad dressings. The Batching Operator follows all batching processes, which include interpreting formulas, mass ingredient measurement and product mixing on multiple batching stations.



The Batching Operator follows all customer specifications and food safety standards and health and safety practices according to Company standards. Responsibilities Check schedules and report to assigned batching station Commence pre-operation inspections and safety inspections, conforming with company’s positive manufacturing practices Assemble and connect hoses, checking to ensure they are fully clean before use Turn on machinery, program ingredients on HMI program Retrieve required spices and ingredients from Spice Preparers and Material Handlers Confirm quantity of ingredients needed, using light mental math or a calculator Cook assigned sauces while adhering to critical control point measures by taking samples to the quality assurance lab as required
