Job Summary

Join our agile team as a Customer Service and Food Preparation Associate, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while preparing delicious food with precision and care. This energetic position combines the art of food handling and preparation with the essential skills of customer service, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, efficiently managing transactions, and supporting daily restaurant operations to keep things running smoothly.

Duties

- Prepare a variety of food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food preparation and prompt service.
- Support food industry best practices by practicing proper food handling techniques and sanitation procedures at all times.

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, preferably within a restaurant or similar setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering tasks.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
