Our mission is to drive economic opportunity by empowering Indigenous people and communities.Role SummaryThe role of Class 1 Driver contributes to team success by providing trucking and transportation support of access mats to client locations in northwestern Alberta.ResponsibilitiesSafe operation of equipmentConducting routine pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintaining accurate records of count sheets and incident reportingProviding exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationshipsOperating straight trucks or trailers safely and professionally to transport goods and materials over rural routesPerforming product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoicesFollowing health and safety and protected work proceduresCompleting all daily paperwork including but not limited to Safety Paperwork, BOL's, MTS's etc.All other duties as assignedQualificationsValid Class 1 driver's license with a clean commercial driver's abstractMin 2 years of experience operating equipmentPhysically fit and able to repeatedly get in/out of equipment and secure loadsStrong communication and customer service skills with English fluencyPrevious professional driving experience is requiredAbility to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions
