In this role, you'll lead operations within the Door Department during the day shift and support our commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.What would you do as our Production Supervisor?You'll be responsible for supervising daily production operations during the day shift (7:00 pm - 3:30 am), leading a team of employees, ensuring product quality, achieving production targets, and supporting on-time delivery while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.You would also:Ensure production teams and processes comply with all company and regulatory safety and quality standardsPlan and assign daily work to meet production schedules and departmental goalsEnsure customer orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on timeCollaborate with cross-functional departments to support current and future production needsTrain, motivate, coach, and evaluate employees; address performance anddiscipline as neededDevelop and report production metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basisIdentify productivity trends and recommend improvements to enhance performanceParticipate in process improvement and lean initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiencyPromote positive employee relations, communication,



and teamwork across all shiftsEnsure compliance with company standards related to cost control, waste reduction, inventory, health & safety, and the Code of ConductProvide coverage for other supervisors or managers as requiredSpecial assignments and other duties as assignedMaintain a safe and harmonious working workplace holding self and others accountable to ASSA ABLOY standardsAssure compliance with provincial, federal, and corporate policies, regulations, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of ConductThe Skills and Experience You Need:Post-secondary degree in a related field (e.G., Manufacturing Engineering)4–6 years of manufacturing supervision or management experienceUnion-site experience preferredDemonstrated experience with lean manufacturing and process improvementExperience with production scheduling and work planningStrong project management skillsWorking knowledge of CNC equipment and programmingExperience with metal forming, door components, or related manufacturing environments preferredStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high safety and quality standardsFlexibility to cover other shifts as neededCompensation $88,000 - $95,000 depending on experienceWhat we offer!We believe in creating opportunities and providing benefits that empower you to grow, thrive, and build a rewarding lifelong career with us.
