What you'd be doing

- Serving customers, providing advice
- Slicing, portioning and packaging deli products
- Building sandwiches for our lunch service
- Stocking and keeping the Deli looking sharp
- Keeping your work area clean and organized
- Providing the kind of friendly service that makes customers want to come back

For the right person this can be a pretty cool gig. You'll have your own space to take pride in- Aside from guidance and direction from the owners and support staff to help you through busy times, the deli will be your zone to own. We're happy to give back as much as you're able to give to the role, and we love to invest in creative ideas if you feel compelled to bring them to life. We won't pretend a customer-facing job isn't particularly taxing, but our regulars are good folks. We (the owners) were long-time employees here before buying the shop last June and we're here in the trenches with you- We're not out of touch (yet).

Being of valuable character,



some enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are the only musts. A passion for food, customer service and deli scale/ pos experience are a plus.

We appreciate hootspa but please avoid phone calls or walk-ins as we're a busy shop that likes to prioritize our customers while we're open. Feel free to come by and scope out the place and say hi, we just can't give you an interview on the spot.
