Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of deli items. You will play a crucial role in maintaining food safety standards, ensuring cleanliness, and delivering a positive dining experience for our customers.

Duties

- Prepare and serve deli items including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches with attention to quality and presentation.

- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS.

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the deli area according to food safety guidelines.

- Handle food products safely and efficiently while adhering to all health regulations.

- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.

- Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.





- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or a restaurant environment is preferred.

- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices is essential.

- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.

- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
