It is every employee's responsibility to ensure that Dundas Manor's goal of Resident safety continues to be the centerpiece of our quality and risk management program and that every Resident is treated within a safe environment.To ensure compliance with this goal, each employee must:Find, report and prevent incidents/near misses or adverse effectsCommunicate/report areas of concern immediately to your managerComplete a Near Miss Form or Incident Report to communicate or report incidents or near missesPREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCEObserves a regular preventative maintenance program related to:The Physical buildingsPerforms room readiness for recent admissions into the home.Ceiling/wall patching and paintingMinor flooring and mop-board repairsClean and paint of all exterior and interior doors and windowsMinor repairs to the roof, windows, doors and the rest of the buildingMaintain all doors and related hardware to ensure proper functioningAssist outside contractors and trades people as requiredThe Dundas Manor groundsPick up debris and pull weedsCut the grass, trim hedges and prune treesKeep benches and tables in proper repairSeasonal snow and ice removal and salt entranceways, as requiredThe physical equipment within the buildingResident equipment and general furniture repairsMedical and support equipmentCarpentry and incidental renovationsSinks, toilets and all incidental plumbing fixtures and drain linesSTOREKEEPINGMaintains Stock levels, and ensures departments receive their stock items as required.Ensures stock product is placed in proper location in stockroomRotates stock on shelvesIssues supplies to departments as requiredDelivers any non-inventory items to departmentsMaintains neatness,
