Let's Talk About Your Future Mission Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments. You will perform, using air-powered hand tools or semi-automatic equipment, the grinding of attachment points of the main landing gear components according to specifications. These operations require a high level of precision to create the exact dimensions to subsequently accommodate other mechanical parts. You Will Also Be Required To prepare the part and, if necessary, perform assembly on the equipment inspect the parts using measuring instruments to ensure compliance withspecifications complete the appropriate quality assurance documentation contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and achievingobjectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on-time deliveries. Requirements Let's talk about you High school diploma required (equivalence certificate not accepted) Experience in manual work or in the manufacturing field Experience in manual grinding is an asset Knowledge of reading blueprints (an asset) Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers (anasset)
