Our goals are to accelerate industrialized construction globally and deliver impactful solutions that uplift communities.Position OverviewAs the labourer, you will be responsible for performing general labour and carpentry tasks while ensuring quality, efficiency and production objectives are achieved by following the appropriate building code regulations, best practices and Fero standards.Key AccountabilitiesPerform general carpentry and installation on modular buildings and other projects.Work collaboratively to ensure efficiency in the build process.Support various trades and/or subcontractors with daily tasks including flooring, drywall, insulation, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.Safely use various power tools including, but not limited to drills, saws, and pneumatic tools including, nail guns, staple guns and hand tools when required.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.Identify and communicate production problems as they arise and take action to correct upon approval from the Supervisor or Production Manager.Document and report on completed tasks,



keeping accurate records of work performed.Participate in both in-person and online training programs and consistently adhere to all health and safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Fero Code of Business Conduct.May perform other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.QualificationsProficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.Some knowledge of building codes and regulations.Solid problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in the tradeAbility to work independently and as part of a team.You have strong technical aptitude, with knowledge of Fieldwire, MS Office applicationsKnowledge of construction industry trends and best practices.Ability to work overtime and/or weekends if required.Physical RequirementsMust stand for longperiods, with frequent lifting up to 50lbsAble to work in all weather conditions including outdoorsBending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, tight spaces and ladder useWorking at heightsWearing PPE such as safety boots, safety vest, safety glasses and gloves.Competencies for SuccessCommunication skills: ability to ask questions and interact with others.Critical thinking: ability to problem solve, able to follow direction and work independently or with a team.Curious: willingness to learnResilient: quick to look for ways to solve or improve a situation, Adaptable to various workflows.Join Fero and Build Your FutureAt Fero,
