Responsibilities will include:Providing exceptional member serviceOperating and maintaining equipment in a secure and responsible mannerTimely completion of all department tasksAssisting members and customers with carrying out grocery items in a safe, courteous mannerDelivering exceptional customer servicePerforming housekeeping duties when requiredWearing all personal protective equipment as per Evergreen Co-op policiesAdhering to all Evergreen Co-op safety policies and proceduresBeing comfortable with working indoors and outdoors, and changing environments frequentlyAll other duties as assignedThis position requires a significant amount of standing, walking, lifting, bending, and twistingWe are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:Previous retail experience with knowledge of grocery/food products is an assetSelf motivated, reliable, responsible,



friendly and hard workingAbility to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer serviceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCommitment to cooperative values and principlesPossesses a sense of urgency, and customer first attitudeAbility to be physically active with lifting up to 50 lbs is required, as well as, a good portion of the day doing static positionsEvergreen Co‐operative Association is here to serve our members and customers with products and services that help build, feed, and fuel individuals and communities.
