Scientist, Analytical Development- Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc.Job DescriptionThe Scientist in Analytical Development is responsible for leading the development of analytical testing for biologics and therapeutics, and for playing a crucial role in the design and execution of comprehensive analytical testing. The scientist reports to the Manager, Analytical Development in Biologics and manages the planning and execution of technology and method transfer, as well as early- and late-stage method development and testing within the Biologics Business Unit to meet business objectives.Duties and Responsibilities:Comprehensive understanding of testing with analytical instruments, bioprocessing, and industrial biotechnologyExperience and good understanding of aseptic techniques in a laboratory settingBasic understanding of how to implement Design of Experiments (DoE) and Quality by Design (QbD) in the biopharmaceutical industryGood understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
