At Bercon Rentals, our promise of safety and service excellence is the most integral component in our operations.Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgmentTravel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional mannerAssist in the training of lower level technicians as neededMaintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders)



in a complete and timely manner on a daily basisAssist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & partsOther duties assigned as requiredSkill and QualificationsLevel 3 Apprentice 421A preferred or equivalent work experienceHeavy Equipment experience of 3-5+ years related experience and 2+ years aerial experiencePosses a valid Heavy Equipment Service Technician License and at least 3-5 years of related experienceExperience in customer serviceHave solid mechanical background knowledge with various engines and hydraulic systemsHave a good understanding of schematics and diagramsExhibit teamworkEmployees are expected to own the tools applicable to position.Knowledge of equipment from brands such as Skyjack, JLG and Genie is an assetAbility to test equipment up to 180 feet in the air; Work from Heights safety training is providedGeographical focus is regions around GGTA and Greater Hamilton AreasThe Bercon recruitment process may include a variety of steps and tools including the use of AI, employment testing and employment checks.Pay ranges provided may be adjusted outside communicated range based on a number of reasons including geography, skill level and experience.
