As an Estimator II with Bosch Building Technologies, your main responsibility will be to maximize the award of profitable contracts by leading estimating and bid administration activities. You will work closely with the Sales, Design, and Project Management team to ensure that our customers are provided with the highest quality service.Ideal candidates will represent Bosch in a professional manner that aligns with our values of leadership mindset, people development, team, and client focused. A typical day could see you responding to an RFP, meeting with sales team members, working with service and project teams during installation, or working with clients to identify scope requirements.Responsibilities:Lead estimating efforts for multi-scope and multi-discipline opportunities, coordinating technical, operational, and commercial inputs to develop complete, competitive, and profitable proposals.Prepare cost budgets based on drawings, specifications, and other relevant materialsWork closely with Engineering, Sales, and PMO to develop cost estimates for labor and logistics and detailed BOMIdentify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documentsCompute and communicate costs through analysis of labor, material, and time requirementsEngage subcontractors to augment Bosch's areas of expertise to provide a complete solutionObtain best product prices from manufacturers, distributors, and subcontractorsMaintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, establishing networksCoordinating bid proposal development with all relevant stakeholdersCommunicate project status regularly with estimation manager, account manager, and other stakeholdersRequired Qualifications:A minimum of 3 years of design and estimation experience in information technology and structured cabling systemsA minimum of 5 years of technical field experience or project management of low voltage system installationStrong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Mac OS, and project / quoting softwareA strong understanding of network infrastructure, data center design, and IT industries, including an awareness of complimentary products, technologies,
