Make a Real Difference Every Day DLi is seeking compassionate, motivated Community Support Workers to join our Social and Community Participation (SCP) team in a range of casual roles across metropolitan Adelaide.

Shifts can be as short as two hours, so these roles are best suited to people with broad availability who are happy to pick up shorter shifts as well as longer ones.

This role is ideal for support workers who are passionate about empowering people with disability to live the life they choose, while promoting independence, dignity and meaningful community participation, and having fun along the way!

About the Role As an SCP Community Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to clients across DLi’s social and community participation programs. You will work with our clients, their families and support networks to help people achieve their goals, build independence and take an active part in their communities. It is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference in people’s lives.

Support may include:

1:1 community access and social participation

Group supports at our Windsor Gardens hub (Day Options)

In-home support to build capacity and independent living skills

Skill development and tailored learning, in a group or 1:1

Transport to appointments and activities

Current Shift Opportunities We have multiple casual roles available across metropolitan Adelaide, covering 1:1 community support, in-home support and shared group support at our Windsor Gardens hub, where a number of shifts fall within school hours. Shifts start from a two-hour minimum, and we are looking for people with broad availability who are open to shorter shifts.

There are currently plenty of shifts available, so team members who offer wide availability and are open to a mix of locations and support types can scale up their hours to suit them.





As these are casual positions, shifts are offered based on client needs and operational requirements, and no minimum hours are guaranteed.

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Experience supporting people with disability and/or complex support needs

Essential Requirements:

Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), Disability, Nursing, Community Services or a related qualification

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current Working with Children Check

Safe Environments for Children and Young People training (or willingness to complete it) for roles supporting young people

Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Current Manual Handling Training

Medication Administration certification

Mealtime Management training

Infection Control training

Evidence of Australian working rights

Current Australian Driver's Licence

Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle available for work purposes
