Location: Vancouver, BC - The candidate will be responsible for designing soft accessories and hard hair products that are refined, functional, and suited to a modern, head-to-toe wardrobe.

- The candidate will take ownership of assigned products throughout the seasonal design process, from research and concept development through sketching, prototyping, fit, and final execution.
- The candidate will research global cultural, aesthetic, sport, and lifestyle trends and apply relevant insights through the lens of lululemon’s brand and guest.
- The candidate will design across multiple product types and methods of make, with particular focus on cut-and-sew construction and specialist applications including gloves, caps and headwear, moulded components, and hard hair.
- The candidate will create explicit black-and-white sketches, CADs, mock-ups, and technical packages that communicate design intent, construction, materials, trims, functionality, and finish.
- The candidate will select fabrics, trims, and raw materials while exploring new materials and construction techniques to create purposeful, innovative products.
- The candidate will work closely with Development, Technical Design, Materials, Sourcing, and other cross-functional teams to address construction and execution challenges while maintaining design intent, quality, functionality, and commercial viability.
- The candidate will actively participate in fittings, prototype reviews, and product reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations to achieve design intent.




- The candidate will apply colour and graphics to the assortment in alignment with seasonal creative direction, considering product function, feasibility, and commercial relevance.
- The candidate will present design work clearly and confidently to Design leadership and cross-functional partners, communicating the rationale and intent behind design decisions.
- The candidate will manage multiple products and seasonal deliverables with strong organization and attention to detail while responding effectively to feedback and changing priorities.
- The candidate will collaborate across the Accessories Design team and broader Women’s and Men’s Design teams, contributing to a cohesive design point of view across categories.
- The candidate will support more junior members of the design team through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and day-to-day guidance. Job Requirements - The candidate must have 5+ years of professional design experience.
- The candidate must have a strong portfolio showcasing accessories or multi-category design experience, demonstrating a balance of performance-driven product and elevated, versatile design.
- The candidate must have deep expertise in materials, trims, construction, and product development across both cut-and-sew and knit applications.
- The candidate must be skilled in hand sketching, CAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- The candidate must have experience working with global development calendars and overseas manufacturing partners.
- The candidate must have clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting design work.
