Leggat Stouffville Ford is looking for a skilled Diesel Technician! This position requires a standard 310S Automotive technician licence, and will be working on diesel vehicles in a busy Ford service department. You will be given the opportunity to complete Ford factory training, and given ongoing technical development by the dealership.

Compensation: Starting at $45+ per hour, pay will be based on experience, diesel expertise, and diagnostic capabilities.

Your Role

Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.

Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed.

Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.

Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Participate in ongoing Ford manufacturer training.

What you Bring

310S technician licence and service technician experience





Previous Diesel diagnostic and repair experience

Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record

Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Ability to work independently and effectively

Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality

Enjoy working in a dynamic environment with ability to collaborate effectively

Basic computer skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
