Steps away from the main public transit stationWhat we offerHighly competitive compensation package which includes, base salary, bonus, benefits, and career advancement opportunities!*Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employmentThe OpportunityThe Investigations Specialist is responsible and accountable for conducting a variety of due diligence reviews.How you will contributeResponsible for reviewing daily reports that identify potential fraud and notify the underwriting department when enhanced due diligence (EDD) is required within SLAs.Responding for daily broker on-boarding reviews and ongoing monthly monitoring and quality assessmentsAppraiser reviews and quality assessments, including the maintenance of the internal and external approved appraiser listInvestigating, evaluating, and maintaining data concerning suspected fraud applications and closed mortgages.Lead complex fraud investigations involving external parties.When potential risk to the Company is identified, communicate findings to Sr. Management in a concise mannerWriting summary reports for internal and external partnersManage all incoming inquiries in the Quality Assurance mailbox within specified turnaround timesInteract with internal and external partners,



disseminating and evaluating information and tips received in order to assess the potential risk to FN, prioritize investigations when requiredOther duties and projects as assigned.Adheres to policies/procedures to ensure AML requirements are met, when applicableThe experience you needMust understand the end to end mortgage application process and general credit adjudication/underwriting knowledgeStrong verbal communication skillsStrong written communication skills required.
