The Digital Printing Operator is responsible for producing complete specialized print projects in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures. Coordinates workload schedule to meet customer time frame requirements while achieving optimum productivity. Works closely with other team members to exceed customer expectations.

Production

- Perform operations on all digital printing machines (Konica Minolta)
- Manage inventory levels (for all material including inks, supplies, paper stocks etc.)
- Coordinate with all departments including shipping to maintain the production workflow and meet job deadlines
- Setup artwork files for printing
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat is a plus
- Inform supervisors for all general maintenance service calls and parts orders
- Operate standard finishing equipment is a PLUS (Paper cutters, Bindery, Wrap, Pack, Label and ship finished product)

Essential Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or acceptable combination of equivalent experience




- Minimum one year of experience in digital printing IS A MUST
- Experience operating a wide variety of printing equipment
- Experience troubleshooting and making minor repairs on printing equipment
- Demonstrated computer skills with experience in MS Office including Outlook
- Able to lift paper boxes weighing between 3-20 kg

Job Types: Full-time, Casual Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
