That standard is the job, and it starts in the workroom.THE ROLEThe Workroom Manager runs day-to-day manufacturing in our workroom and oversees the warehouse behind it. You own the production schedule, lead the team on the floor, and make sure every project ships complete and on time. You'll also lead the push to modernize how the workroom runs — tightening process and bringing new software into the shop so we can scale without losing quality.This is a hands-on leadership role with real latitude. If you like taking an operation that already works and making it work considerably better, this is that job.WHAT YOU'LL DOOwn the production schedule for the workroom and hit committed install dates on 100% of projectsLead, coach, and schedule a production team of 8, including hiring and performance conversationsOversee warehouse and inventory operations — stock accuracy, staging, and reorder points — working through the team who handle them day to dayFind and implement efficiencies in how work moves through the shop, and measure the resultLead the rollout of Zoho One across the workroom,



including team trainingSolve the one-off problems no two projects share, working directly with our design and sales teamsHold the quality bar before anything leaves the building, and manage rework downPerform occasional site visits to scope, troubleshoot, or support installsWHAT YOU'LL BRINGRequired3+ years managing production in window coverings, soft goods, upholstery, or similar custom manufacturingExperience overseeing warehouse and inventory operationsA track record of coaching a team to hit performance targetsStrong computer skills — comfortable learning and rolling out new systems, not just using themValid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle for occasional site visitsNice to haveSewing or drapery fabrication experienceExperience with motorized or smart window coveringsPost-secondary education in operations, manufacturing, or a skilled tradeYOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF YOU'REDetail-driven.
