Specialty: Nuclear Cardiology / Diagnostic ImagingThe OpportunityAugury Healthcare is currently recruiting an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support our client, a specialized cardiology and diagnostic imaging provider operating multiple locations throughout Calgary.The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality nuclear cardiology services, with a primary focus on myocardial perfusion imaging and cardiac stress testing.This opportunity is well suited to a technologist who is confident working independently, communicates effectively with patients and healthcare professionals, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.You will work closely with cardiologists, physicians, technologists, nurses, administrative staff, and other members of the healthcare team while supporting safe, efficient, and patient-focused diagnostic services.Compensation$45–$50 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and assignment requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform myocardial perfusion imaging and other nuclear cardiology proceduresPrepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocolsPerform radiopharmacy procedures and related quality control testingConduct routine quality control procedures on nuclear medicine equipmentPrepare patients for diagnostic nuclear medicine examinationsReview patient history, medications, and relevant contraindications prior to proceduresExplain procedures clearly and professionally to patientsPerform rest, stress, and redistribution imagingAssist with or perform exercise cardiac stress testing within scopeAssist with pharmacological stress testing under appropriate medical directionMonitor patients throughout proceduresOperate gamma cameras and other nuclear medicine imaging equipmentEnsure images meet required diagnostic and technical quality standardsFollow established image acquisition, processing, and documentation protocolsMaintain accurate patient and procedural recordsFollow radiation safety principles, including ALARA practicesSupport equipment quality assurance requirementsMaintain a clean, organized,
