This role will also contribute to the enhancement of the manufacturing systems 4iiii Innovations deploys globally for the fabrication of its products. The ideal candidate will have the freedom to develop using cutting edge technologies and contribute to the firmware development. Testing and validation of individual system components and finished consumer products are expected within this position..RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESDesign and layout of PCBAs for consumer products and manufacturing equipmentAssembly and testing of PCBA prototypesWrite firmware for said PCBA designsAnalysis of power meter dataTroubleshoot and resolve issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical designs into current and existing productsDocumentationOther duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as requiredQUALIFICATIONSBachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringA minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering, PCBA design and data analysisWorking knowledge of C++ and C programmingBasic soldering skillsEmbedded RTOS, such as Zephyr, a strong assetDemonstrable aptitude for analytics and problem solvingEffective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teamsAbility to work well under pressure and meet set deadlinesWORKING CONDITIONS AND ADDITIONAL DETAILSCan work remotely during design phases; must work on-site in Cochrane, Alberta when assembling and testing prototypes or productsComprehensive benefits package, including extended health care, dental care, health spending account and healthy living account
