Position SummaryUnder the general direction of the Manager, Slots, this position is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the slots operation on a shift basis while establishing and contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Is responsible for assisting with the planning and directing of slots operations, ensures adherence to all policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and assists in providing a learning environment. Assists with developing performance objectives and delivering performance evaluations, assists with the implementation all current slot operations initiatives. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. This posting reflects a current vacancies we have.Key AccountabilitiesProvides input for team member performance objectives and evaluationsSchedules and supervises team members; edits timesheets for payrollMonitors shift work assignmentsResolves customer disputes; reports irregularities,disputes and suspicious activities; prepares CRS Incident ReportsMaintains slot inventories and suppliesLiaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsDevelops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and team members)Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsManages other initiatives as requiredEducation and QualificationsPost Secondary education or suitable combination of education and experience an assetMinimum 2 years of experience in slot operationsMinimum 3 years of leadership experienceAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseSmart Serve CertificationAbility to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communicationComputer literacy in MS OfficeBilingual (English/French) is an asset but not requiredWork Environment ConsiderationsRegular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, some exposure to verbal abuse, non-traditional work hours for our 24/7/365 operationsArtificial intelligence may be used to select applicants in our processes.
