Responsibilities

- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen tools to uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Maintain an organized dish station by properly stacking and storing cleaned items for easy access
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed under the supervision of kitchen staff
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping floors, and disposing of waste efficiently
- Ensure all dishwashing equipment is functioning correctly and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a hygienic work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy breakfast hours

Skills





- Solid knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of food preparation and food service operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Prior hotel or food service experience is a plus but not required
