Saint Johns Tavern is looking to hire an experienced dishwasher for a full time role.

Tuesday-Saturday 5:30pm-1:30am, $18/hour + tips

Key Responsibilities

- Washing and Sanitizing: Clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial machines or manual three-compartment sinks.
- Station Maintenance: Keep the dish pit and surrounding kitchen areas organized, safe, and free of clutter.
- Sanitation and Safety: Adhere to health codes, monitor chemical/sanitizer concentrations, and manage waste disposal and recycling.
- General Support: Sweep and mop floors, stock clean items, and occasionally assist with basic prep work or deliveries.

Qualifications and Skills

- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, work in hot or humid conditions, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Reliability: Solid work ethic, punctuality, and the capacity to maintain a fast pace during busy service rushes.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- French not required
