Job Type: Part time, recurring (once a week)

About the Role:

We're looking for a reliable, dog-loving daysitter to provide in-home companion care for a sweet pup for up to 9 hours, one day per week. This is an in-home sitting position — the sitter must stay at the home for the full duration of the visit and cannot leave the property. It's an ideal fit for someone who works from home, freelances, or has a flexible daytime schedule and is comfortable spending the day quietly working, relaxing, or getting other things done while keeping the dog company.

Responsibilities:

- Arrive at the client's home in the Distillery District and stay on-site for the full scheduled period (up to 9 hours), typically 8am to 5pm
- Provide companionship, comfort, and supervision throughout the day
- Follow feeding, potty break, and any specific care instructions provided by the owner,
- Monitor the dog's behavior and wellbeing, and communicate any concerns promptly
- Maintain a calm, low-stress environment (experience with anxious or reactive dogs is a plus)
- Tidy up after any messes (food, water, accidents, etc.)





Requirements:

- Available for a consistent weekly day shift, typically Fridays 8am–5pm (schedule may occasionally change, with at least 1 week's notice)
- Able to commit to staying in the home for the entire booking — no leaving the property
- Comfortable working independently for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and communicative
- Prior dog sitting/walking experience preferred
- Must be comfortable following detailed care instructions
- Able to easily commute to the Distillery District

Ideal Candidate:

- Works remotely or has a flexible/freelance schedule that allows for a full day away from a traditional workplace
- Genuinely enjoys spending quiet, extended time with dogs
- Comfortable in a client's home environment

Pay: $50.00 per day
