Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative 3D Printing Technician to join our dynamic team. The 3D Blueprints / Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and fabrication blueprints for projects across various industrial sectors, including heavy duty construction, Transportation, mining, lumber, drilling, commercial buildings, aerospace farming and more. This role ensures designs are accurate, manufacturable, and comply with company standards.

Duties o Develop accurate 2D drawings and 3D models based on project requirements, sketches, or verbal instructions.

o Translate engineering concepts and specifications into detailed fabrication drawings.

o Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and welding teams to ensure designs meet functional and safety standards.

o Revise and update drawings as needed during the fabrication process.

o Maintain an organized library of drawings, models, and project documentation.





o Review blueprints to detect potential design issues before fabrication.

o Ensure drawings meet company standards and industry regulations.

o Assist in preparing material lists, cut lists, and project plans based on blueprints.

o Assist in sales calls.

Qualifications

o Diploma or certificate in Drafting, CAD, or related technical field.

o Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent).

o Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, and industrial manufacturing processes.

o Ability to read, interpret, and create detailed technical Drawings.

o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

o Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.

o Experience in industrial or construction projects.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
