Willow Tree Nannies is looking for caring, dependable and responsible Nanny/Drivers to join our team and provide thoughtful childcare to families throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

About the Role

As a Nanny/Driver, you will provide safe, attentive and engaging care while also assisting with transportation when required. You may transport children to and from school, activities, appointments, programs or other approved destinations based on the family’s needs.

You will be responsible for creating a comfortable and positive experience for each child while following Willow Tree’s care standards and the family’s agreed-upon routines and instructions.

Responsibilities

- Provide attentive and age-appropriate care for children 6 months to 12 years
- Safely transport children using an approved vehicle and transportation arrangement
- Follow all applicable road safety requirements and Willow Tree transportation procedures
- Supervise children during transportation and throughout the booking
- Support routines such as meals, play, reading, activities and transitions
- Help children feel comfortable, supported and understood
- Follow instructions regarding allergies, medication, special needs and other care requirements
- Communicate appropriately with parents and Willow Tree
- Maintain professional boundaries and protect family privacy
- Complete required check-ins, documentation and incident reports when necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for the children in your care

- Comfortable driving children when transportation is part of the booking

Requirements

- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle being used
- Safe and reliable driving history
- Access to a safe, properly maintained vehicle when required for the role
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Required background/Vulnerable Sector screening
- Ability to meet Willow Tree’s caregiver screening and training requirements
- Previous childcare experience is required for special-needs care assignments
- Ability to provide reliable transportation for assigned bookings when required

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 40.0 per week
