Duties

- Measure, cut, install, and secure drywall panels according to project specifications and blueprints
- Finish drywall seams with taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing to achieve a smooth surface ready for painting or finishing
- Apply caulking around joints, fixtures, and edges to ensure airtight and moisture-resistant finishes
- Perform construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of finished surfaces
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans
- Conduct minor carpentry tasks as needed for framing or support structures during drywall installation




- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently while adhering to safety protocols during all phases of work

Experience

- Prior experience in drywall installation and finishing is essential; familiarity with commercial or residential projects is preferred
- Construction experience demonstrating knowledge of building practices and safety standards
- Skills in carpentry, including framing and structural support work
- Hands-on experience with construction painting, caulking, and general handyman tasks
- Knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and techniques for seamless finishes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in all aspects of drywall finishing
