What you’ll do As a Driver - DZ , you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the road and working directly with customers to collect recyclable materials safely and efficiently. Your Day-to-day

- Drive a Rear Packer, Roll-Off, Straight Truck, and/or Pick-up Truck to customer locations to collect recyclable materials
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report equipment defects or damage
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and maintaining a clean work area at customer sites
- Accurately complete route sheets, work orders, scale tickets, mileage reports,



and logbooks
- Operate truck-specific equipment safely, including loading, unloading, switching, and securing containers and bins
- Ensure loads are properly secured and transported according to company and regulatory requirements
- Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and environmentally responsible operation

Your strengths as a Driver - DZ You are a natural fit for this role if:

- You hold a valid DZ Driver’s License with air brake endorsement
- You have experience in recycling, waste management, transportation, or a related industry
- You are highly organized and able to manage your time effectively throughout the day
- You have a strong customer service mindset and communicate professionally with clients and coworkers
- You have good knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding areas
- You are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- You pay close attention to detail and can accurately handle weights, measures, and documentation
